Rise: Rise Up Tomorrow
RISE UP TOMORROW:
God has beautiful plans for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God's desire is for us to have a "future and a hope", He longs for us to live life within the beauty of His heart. God calls a life lived by and through His grace a life of abundance (John 10:10). God never intended for us to experience a life that did not contain the fullness of His glory and love.
Unfortunately, there is a problem we humans run into when it comes to Rising up and taking hold of the promise God has for us and that problem is called "our will".
The truth is, God will not force His plans on our lives. If we choose to use tomorrow as an excuse to chase after selfish gain and our own dreams, then we will have no future and no hope. Each morning when we rise we have a choice to make: surrender to God's will and decide He knows what's best for us, or decide we know what's best for ourselves and chase after our flesh.
In our flesh and in our plans we may find temporary pleasure but we will never find a lasting hope or a life that is bursting with satisfaction and joy.
God also doesn't ask us to give up our plans for something lesser He asks us to give up our plans in order to make room for bigger dreams, bigger plans, and bigger joy than we ever could've imagined! God's dreams can be terrifying and feel overwhelming but we have a Big God who calls us worthy and chosen for a mighty work. He will meet us where our strength ends and He promises that whatever good work He has begun in us He will complete (Philippians 1:6)!
Partner with God today, dream some dreams for His Kingdom, You were created and designed to do something astounding for the Lord! Watch as the God of the Universe does "far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us..." -Ephesians 3:20
